Dubai, UAE, May 1, 2007: CompEx, Inc. has installed the first interactive glass projection dynamic signage system at Saks Fifth Avenue in Dubai. The system enables shoppers to interact with the media using interactive touch and mobile phones.
The CBN Media Players represent the next generation of intelligent digital signage devices designed to store and play dynamic digital media and promotional content to millions of locations simultaneously. The content delivery solution was engineered from the network layer up to assure reliable connectivity. The displays can diagnose their own situation and can automatically request service or in the field replacement units when failure is detected.
The CompEx broadcasting network system provides a method utilizing interaction between shoppers and their mobile phones which act as RFID tags when in the proximity of the sign.
