The Future of the Internet Presentation
LTC (R) Mel Cape gave a presentation on "The Future of the Internet" to a graduate class of military and civilian students the evening of September 28, 2006. Integral to the presentation was a demonstration of RFID technology and its link to the Internet.
Focusing on RFID as one of the many future technologies that will be web-enabled, LTC (R) Cape gave a short demonstration of its use in airport security during the presentation.
The demonstration, a shockwave file provided by Compex Inc., was very effective in getting the concept across and its potential benefits in the transportation and security industries.
